Measurement of high blood pressure or Hypertension is one of the easiest method of diagnosing this disease. It needs very basic equipment and training to accurately measure this potentially lethal ailment. Yet it is ironic that very few Hypertensives are diagnosed correctly and even fewer receive treatment for the same. Perhaps even more ridiculous fact is that, despite best treatment of Hypertension only 50 percent of treated patients have their blood pressure well controlled.
Thus, putting in different terms, fewer than 1 in 5 persons with Hypertension have their blood pressure under well control.
Milk had been an essential and integral
part of our nutrition plans for almost 8000 years now. However, for so
many decades, we have been warned against consumption of cheese and
milk. Mothers had reluctantly held back milk from their adolescent
children which they themselves considered and cherished as the purest
and best food. We had been trapped by the cholesterol ghost for too long
and too snugly. We dreaded the thought of eating cheese lest we should
get those scary blockages in arteries of our hearts. We deliberately
avoided morning breakfast with milk paying heed to the statuary warning
about saturated fats and their catastrophic bad effects on our health.
